European Road Trip Day 10

We start the day with some random breakfast made up of item we needed to eat up, taken with us from Sweden. Then we sorted everything nicely into the car and made it all super nice and tidy!

By noon we left and started driving towards the Dolomites. On our way there we stopped in one of the villages along the way and had a shared pizza for lunch. Really nice! Then we continued towards Cortina d'Ampezzo. There we made a longer stop, found a geocache and bought a whole mug of gelato. We also paid a visit to a supermarket where we bought food for this nights dinner as well as breakfast for the day after, and of course some snacks. Unfortunately this store was really bad with bread. They barely had any, and what they had was some "store-baked" bread that was a mix between Danish pastry (wienerbröd) and rusk (skorpa). Super dry and crumbly!

We then left the town and headed north towards a spot we'd found close to a river. The idea was to be close to the starting place of the via ferrata we wanted to do tomorrow.

In the evening we just made some really nice dinner for ourselves - a salad with tomatoes, mozzarella and salad and to that we had some tortellini and sauce. I had tomato sauce and Lukas pesto. Super easy but still quite nice!

We didn't do much else that evening, except enjoy the beautiful views that surrounded us.
