European Road Trip Day 2

Today when we woke up, both of us were really tired, but Kim even more so.

Today we had a meet up planned with a friend of Kim, and their partner, at Cafe 66 in Stralsund. Kim hadn't met them in over 4 years so it was really cool and nice to get to meet again after so long time.

We had some nice waffles and talked a lot, but after a few hours they needed to go because the partner of Kim's friend needed to go home. So we said goodbye to both, and hung around on our own in Stralsund for some time.

The first few hours we were just tired though, so we relaxed for some time in the car. But later in the day we found a beach (on the second try we found an empty parking lot) where Lukas went to cool down a bit.

Then we headed into the town again, found a parking space and went to first buy a new toothbrush for Lukas because in the morning we noticed some mold on the old one (🤮) and then buy some food together with Kim's friend.

We met up at a local store, got a lot of nice vegetables, fruit, some sauces and chicken and went to their place to prepare some nice food. Ended up being lots of vegetables with sauces, couscous and bread, as well as vegetables and dips and also fruit. Nice, simple and plain delicious.

But after a few more hours there, we had to leave for the day and continue our trip south. We just kept going until we found a nice Raststätte along the highway (road 24). And there, we stopped and went to sleep.
