Today we woke up to windy weather. Packed everything and got going 2 min faster than yesterday. Then we walked for about an hour before stopping to have breakfast. We had it on a small wooden bridge that crossed an even smaller water source. When we began to pack everything again, we saw an elk far away! Cool!

After walking for some hundred metres we came to a bigger water source, almost like a small river, but without a bridge! But it should have had one. We also passed a reindeer fence that looked more like a fence surrounding a trench.

Between breakfast and lunch we made slow progress. It was windy but switched between sunshine and clouds, and the terrain was a bit tough. Either stones, marshland or downy willow. Also, we took a lot of pauses. First a longer one because Micke was out of water and wanted to filter it (it was almost still), another one when Kim wanted to change to shorts (not the best decision with all the willow...), another one for Kim needing to pee and another long one for Micke because of his upset stomach.

After a while we came to an ridge by some water close to Råstojaure, where we walked down on one of the sides to have lunch. Suddenly it got INSANELY warm, since the wind stopped completely behind the sand ridge. After lunch we walked for about 2 km on the ridges in a crazy amount of wind, because it had increased in strength. It was then about the same amount of winds all the way to our dinner and camp. The landscape was about the same too for 15 km, quite flat. For a while Lukas thought about what a weird lawn we had arrived to! And we just walked and walked... Everyone got in to their own little hiking meditation bubble. After just over 20 km Kim's feet got a little tired of it all, but Micke and Lukas had decided a spot for today's camp, so there was nothing to do but walk on.

Oh, we also got to see two fishermen far away by some lakes, and two ptarmigans, in addition to the one we saw yesterday.
