In July we went to Gotland, and it was magical!

Since Lukas has never been to Gotland and Kim has never been there as an adult (only time was when she was 10) we had no idea what to expect and we've never understood the "hype".

But it was the only region/county in Sweden we hadn't visited so it felt like it was about due time!

And we were not disappointed. We've heard rumours about it being super touristy, but that was not the experience we had for most of the time. The island is big, it's not too hard to avoid the crowds.

The nature was unlike anything we've ever seen in Sweden, overall, the feeling was very "Mediterranean", and not Swedish at all. It was also very warm and humid, at least when we were there.
