Dossagemvággi-Kalikselva/Čáihnajohka via Válffojohka emergency hut, Unna Allakasstugorna and Čunojávrihytta

When we woke up the rain was gently tapping on the tent and we decided to have breakfast in the tent this morning. That way, we managed to wait until the rain stopped before we got going.

This morning there was still the big smooth rock sides, but with more up and down and the trail was zig-zagging a lot.

Time moved fast but we didn't!

We met a couple that recommended us to walk off trail instead of passing a fairly deep river. It was pretty easy to navigate off trail just a bit steep to get down to the water again. We passed the water on a place where we just managed to have dry underwear - a bit further up the river than we had been adviced. Just after the water we reached Válffojohka emergency hut.

Here we had a break and tried to dry up a bit, but it was hard when it was so cold outside.

Then we continued towards Unna Allakas hut in better terrain. On the way we passed some area where there had been a mine before. We didn't see any signs about it really, but we could see a little bit of a mining area in the distance.

At Unna Allakas we bought coffee, hot chocolate, Delicato balls and carbonara sauce and had a little fika break. It was very nice.

From here there was even better terrain and once we reached the next hut that was in Norway - Čunojávrihytta, we stopped to have dinner.

The last part before camping we crossed a shady bridge, walked on a nice "highway" (easy trail) and crossed some creaks.
