Gautelishytta-Sitasjaurestugorna via Hukejaurestugan

We woke up to a beautiful sunny morning today, didn't stress too much, and walked in a calm easy pace. The good weather soon changed to a more cloudy weather and Kim had a tough time dealing with her period.

Just before the Swedish border, we stopped for breakfast. Then we continued on along the rocky trail.

At Hukejaurestugan we stopped for a break, used the toilet and Kim went to find a geocache. Last time we were here it had been raining before, then when we reached Hukejaure we got sun. This time we had the opposite experience, and now it started raining as we left.

From here we knew the way, and what to expect, and the trail was easier to walk than before.

We hiked for a long time without much rest at all, and when we reached the planks laid out for the ATVs, we saw a lot of lemmings and even mice running underneath.

A lot of slipping and sliding in the rain and mud (Kim even fell once because of missing some planks, and a second time because she slipped and fell) we finally reached Sitasjaurestugan at ten in the evening. We were wet and tired, but had decided to pitch our tents, which we did once Lukas were done on the toilet.

Then the cabin host opened the window and talked to us for some time which was nice. We could of course sleep inside but we insisted not to, and it was okay for her, and as long as we didn't use any of the utilities inside we didn't need to pay any fee.
