Sulitjelma-southeast of Tjoarvvesivvun via Sulitjelma mine museum, Tjoarvihytta

This morning we went up, packed some more, then had breakfast for several hours trying to eat everything that was left.

Then we tried to catch up on our Instagram updates which took way too long...

Around noon we left the place, and walked the 2 km to the mine museum. There we talked to the nice lady and got to learn some about the history of Sulitjelma and the mines there. It is just crazy how things were before. Lukas thought it was especially interesting because he has been in a modern mine through his job. He said some things are still quite similar, while other things definitely are not.

We continued on the road after that. It was very warm but cloudy, and we were sweating a lot.

Soon came rain and thunder which explained why it was so humid and warm, and after that the air felt fresher and it was less warm. Unfortunately there was still an annoying amount of mosquitoes.

We walked on the road, listening to Sommar i P1 and updated Instagram. At Tjoarvihytta we took a break. We discussed whether to stop for the night here or continue, but in the end decided to keep going a little bit longer and sleep in our tent.

We found a spot by the side of the road that was actually quite good with a small mountain lake/puddle beside us. We filled water and filtered it just in case, then cleaned ourselves and went to bed.
