Van life again đ
Summary of Oct/Nov 2023
Itâs been a while since we posted any updates here, so letâs make a recap of what has happened since we came back home from hiking through Norway.
After finishing our long hike through Norway in the beginning of October, there were a lot of "what's next?"-questions. Kim had already applied for, and got, a job far far away, and we knew we only had just over a month together.
So we decided to go on a little spontaneous van trip! The idea was that we would ease off our big adventure by following up with a small adventure, but also get to spend more time together while also meeting friends and geocaching a bit. So that's what we did!
The trip didn't go as planned though - or well, how can a trip go to plan if it doesn't have a plan? Jokes aside, Kim had actually kind of planned the trip, and along the trip we would meet some friends in Västerås, Arboga, Linköping, Växjö, Lund, Malmö... So that gives like a general idea about the route we took half of the way.
The thing that didn't go as planned was the car, which decided to break down already on our second day, but luckily we (or rather, Lukas) managed to evade that potential catastrophe with a little bit of luck as well, and after that we could continue the trip.

Our first stop was VÀsterÄs, then we continued to Arboga where we spent the day geocaching while waiting for spare parts for our car.
After Arboga we continued South, and made a stop in Linköping to meet a friend, then continued south geocaching along the way. One of those places was Vimmerby.
Next up we met up with friends in Malmö and Lund and played games together â€ïž
We took a walk around Alnarp Manor and the surrounding parks.
Pizza break at Mamma Teresa in Landskrona.
Took a walk around Landskrona Castle.
Then we continued towards Smygehuk! Very strange for Kim to revisit this place, and now bring Lukas.
We also drove out to Ăland and Kim took a walk to Ălandâs highest point. First she passed BĂ„rby Borg.
Maybe not the best shoe choice, but her other shoes were wet.
