Göteborg 🚐🌧️

Rock Carvings in Tanum.

Two weekends ago we drove down to Gothenburg where we spent some time visiting a friend and hanging out with Kim's family.

Of course we had great weather 🌧️🙄 13-15 degrees, torrential rain and lots of wind.

We spent our 4 days mostly driving to be honest, but also finding plenty of geocaches, as our goal on our way there and back was to visit as many new municipalities as possible. We passed by a lot of interesting places that we definitely would like to come back to. In this weather we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked, and we passed many places outside of their opening hours.

One of the coolest places we visited was the Rock Carvings in Tanum. Kim has wanted to go there since forever and now we could finally do that. Luckily we also got a little bit of a break from the rain as well 🥹

And in Gothenburg we visited the ship Götheborg of Sweden, a full-functioning replica of the 18th Century ship with the same name.

When we finally arrived back home, we did a quick stop at our local REKO-ring to buy some food from local farmers, and of course by then the weather had done a 180. It was 23 degrees, sunny and sweltering hot. Well, thanks 😆

Either way it was still a nice trip, but at some point we definitely need to go to this part of Sweden again!
