Norge På Langs (2023)

incl. Gröna Bandet


On this page we will share links and information related to our Norge På Langs hike - a hike from Nordkapp/Knivskjellodden (Norway's northernmost point) to Lindesnes (Norway's southernmost point) 2023, as well as our second Gröna Bandet hike. This time on the Norwegian side.

Start: North Cape, 17 June 2023 & Knivskjelodden, 18 June 2023
End: Lindesnes, 5 October 2023
Total days: 111 (of which 107 were hiking days)
Total distance: 2 742.64 km
Tent nights: 63
Longest hiking day: 41.22 km
Average hiking day (inc. rest days): 24.7 km/day
Average hiking day (exc. rest days): 25.6 km/day

Resupplies:

This year we only had 2 resupply boxes, since we learned last time that it was very unnecessary to send so many and so much. The first one was sent to Ritsem, which was after ~1/3 of the way, and the next one was delivered to us by Kim’s parents to Grövelsjön, which was ~2/3 of the way and also the end point of Gröna Bandet.

How to use:
Click on the arrow beside “Map Filters (On)”.
Under “Date & Time Range:” choose “Custom Date Range”. Press “Edit”. Set “From Date” to 17 June 2023 00:00 and “To Date” to 5 October 2023 17:00. Press “Done”.
Now you should see the route for the entire hike 😊
