Te Araroa (2025)
On this page you can find links and information related to our Te Araroa hike that we did during the 24/25 season. Te Araroa means “The Long Pathway” and stretches through the whole southern and northern island of New Zealand. We started from Bluff in the south, and made our way up to Cape Reinga in the north. The whole route is about 3 000 km long - the distance changes slightly from year to year, as the trail changes. The hike took us just over 4 months.
