NPL Day 91

Day 91: Friday 15 September 2023

Fondsbu-Tyinkrysset

We slept really good in this dormitory. Probably because it was almost as cold as outside, so a bit easier for our bodies, that now are used to the temperatures outside.

In the morning we sat in the main building by some tables and tried to catch up with some social media updates while eating the rest of our snacks for breakfast.

When we started to walk the sun was shining a little. We talked a lot, and while we walked, the sun and drizzle took turns being in charge.

We had some short breaks, and tried to arrive as early as possible.

When we got closer to the town we realised that the sheep are probably not very popular here 😅 Poop everywhere on the streets, especially under one of the tunnels. It looked quite extreme.

When we arrived, Sven Richard, one of the owners of Opplev Filefjell met us and showed us the place and our rooms. This is for sure the best place we've stayed at! And definitely the one worth the most. We only paid 850 NOK for a night, and we had everything we needed here. Washer, kitchen, shower, double bed (only downside was that they weren't stuck together!) and even a hairdryer and we literally had the store as a neighbour!

While we washed the first batch of clothes we went to the store and bought everything we needed for the next section. Then Lukas made food while Kim did the laundry. We had turkey, vegetables and rømme for dinner. We also had some tortilla chips. So nice to eat fresh food again 😋
