European Road Trip Day 12

Today we decided to sleep in. After having some breakfast by the car, we decided to explore one of the hiking trails around. It led us to a tiny lake, that we thought we would go swimming in, but it was just a fishing lake. You were not allowed to swim in it. So we walked back to the car again.

Today we drove for a really long time, and the only stops we did was by a Eurospin outside of Milano to buy breakfast and stuff. Kim had also seen a lot of really nice ice cream on another store that she wanted to buy, so we thought we would do that now. Unfortunately this store barely had ANY ice cream, and the one they had was either too big/small or too standard (so, no point in buying). Because of this, Kim was devastated and sad, because this might be their last shot at ice cream bought in an Italian store, and it wasn't even worth it to buy at all because the options were so bad.

So we continued, and Kim started looking for somewhere to eat. She found a place that looked really nice on the pictures, along the route we were already taking, so we headed there. But when we reached the place, we didn't find anything at the spot. Super strange. We tried to Google and read about the place on Facebook but didn't understand anything, and the address to the place was also weird. So Kim was about to basically start crying again at this point. But Lukas then found somewhere else to eat, that had nice pasta and pizza. After eating both felt a lot better again, and we continued driving. Before going to our sleeping spot for the day, we visited a super nice gelato place in Viverone. Sooo soo worth it! Probably one of the best gelato we've ever had!
