NPL Day 41 & GB Day 17

Day 41: Thursday 27 July 2023

Ny-Sulitjelma Fjellstue-Sulitjelma

Kim was very tired this morning, while Lukas was not. So (as usual) he did most of the things that needed to be done in the morning. In the morning we met the nice man with the dog again, and had breakfast.

Then it was time to go to Sulitjelma. It felt like s long way down, and it was very steep. The sun was scorching hot, but finally we reached Coop Prix. There we bought banana, juice and klenning and sat down outside by a table. After eating we were more clear-headed, and could go back inside again to do the real shopping which we are quite good at now.

Then we headed over to the AirBnB, Lukas carrying one shopping bag in each hand while Kim carried one with bread and chips. The owner of the AirBnB was very friendly, and showed us our amazing place. We even got freshly picked strawberries from the garden and buns. The place was a lot bigger and a lot more luxurious than we had expected from the description and the pictures, and we literally had all we needed except a proper kitchen (no sink, just a stove and fridge/freezer) but it was more than enough for us anyway.

Lukas made a salad and then we had bought ready-made chicken from the store and it was sooo good. We spent the whole day here just eating, catching up, repacking food, showering, cleaning clothes and watching movies. Very late we finally went to bed, and slept well in the hotel-like bed 😴
