NPL Day 71 & GB Day 47

Day 71: Saturday 26 August 2023

Mela-Ljøsnåvola via Brekken, Feragen, Ljøsnåvollen

Now it was Kim's turn to have a leaking mattress. Lukas slept like a baby but Kim did not 😂

When the clock hit 8:00 it was time to get up. We walked to Coop Marked Brekken 4 km away from our tent spot, and called Simon to wake him up and have breakfast together. We talked to some locals and this accent was really hard to understand.

After breakfast Simon continued on his trip. We hugged goodbye, then it was time to resupply for the next three days.

When we got going again we started the last road walk for a while. The last road was a cozy gravel road leading up to Ljøsnåvollen.

Then we only hiked for about 2 km on the trail before we were hit by rain and wind. We quickly pitched our tent and hid inside. Lukas wanted to try to fix Kim's sleeping pad. So we overfilled the mattress and folded it to increase the pressure. We heard a hissing sound and quickly located the leak. Then we could fix the mattress while the wind howled outside.
