TA Day 75: Monday 3 March 2025

Bulls (Brandon Hall Rd) - Koitiata Campground

Leaving this place in the morning felt impossible! This place was very much like our dream home, and we would have liked to stay longer. But the hike must go on.

The first half of the day went along the road. Some farmers passed us and we passed some cows in pastures. The road felt endless...

We finally made it out to the beach, and here it was really windy! Not very pleasant actually but what can you do. At first the tide was relatively high and it wasn't so pleasant to walk on the beach, but as time passed and the tide got lower it felt better. The wind also calmed down a bit in the afternoon.

We reached the really cozy campsite - Koitiata Campsite, and wondered where Lulu and Jules, who we guessed were behind us, were. But after about an hour, they showed up. Lukas was also in contact with Jan again and got told that he would actually join us at this campsite, but late tonight.

We had dinner with Lulu and Jules, then spent the evening looking at the sunset from the viewpoint and also trying to get some phone signal from there. Then it was time to go to bed.

We went to bed, and at 00:30 Jan arrived, so Lukas got up and shared 3 beers with him. Weird thing to do in the middle of the night and in the middle of sleeping but it was fun 😄
