“Tiny life” for a weekend
So for Christmas this year, I got the present to sleep in a Tiny House for a weekend at Inforest, which I have been wanting to try for quite some time. Those of you who know Lukas and I probably also already know that we having been talking about wanting to live in a Tiny House in the future. Last weekend I finally got the chance to try it out together with Lukas and my sister Liv.
We stayed in the biggest of the three houses that Inforest currently has - Esther. Originally our plan was to sleep in one of the smaller sized houses to try out the size, but unfortunately they were already fully booked back in February. So in the end we decided to go with Esther anyway. So we didn’t get to try out the space that much, considering we already live quite small - on 35 sqm. But instead, we got to try out the idea, and also being “off-grid”. We had a gas stove and oven, we had a watertank of 300 litres, electric and warm water from the solar panels on the roof and a composting toilet. So all of that was pretty new to us. We also tried hiding away our phones to spend as little time online during the weekend as possible, and well… Some of us made it quite well while some didn’t do just as good 🙂
But we brought a lof of really nice food, and a lot of nice games. It was quite a short stay, so no time to get bored, and I’d rather wanted to stay longer!
