Both when I fell to sleep yesterday, and woke up today, it was like the world was silent. Sometimes a bird made a sound, but other than that it was really silent. No wind, nothing.

As the morning progressed, slowly, more birds awoke, but it was still very quiet. After a few km the forest suddenly disappeared, and I had a view over the mountains below and ahead. What was left of the forest around me had burns all over.

I then soon reached a dirt road, that I followed while enjoying some coverage again. Down by Görälven, I met two people that I said hi to. Other than them, I didn't meet anyone today.

At Görälven I also happened to take a break. I didn't really mean to, it just happened. A few hours later I had eaten, so I continued. I had a long way left to go today.

From here on, the terrain got trickier. I managed to get to Granfjällssätern fairly quickly, but then, as I headed straight up the mountain - ascending almost 300 m in 2 km, I got completely drained and my gluteus got trained.

When I reached Närfjällsstugan I had a short break before continuing down into the valley. Here the terrain was rocky again, so being fast was hard. I then walked a bit in the valley until doing another ascent. This time 150 m in about 1,5 km. After this, it got easier to walk. A problem I had though, was that I was pretty much out of water. The only water I'd had was one bottle from Görälven. The small water sources on the map barely ran, so I couldn't fill anything from there. So I was really thirsty today when doing these ascents.

And when I finally reached Kläppenskjulet, my feet tired and hurting from the bad terrain, I still didn't have water. So I decided to leave my things and go and get some by the bridge a little further south. When I came back, I started to prepare my sleeping things. Unfortunately the building was just some benches and a table with a roof and three walls, but I didn't want to pitch my tent so I decided to try to sleep on one of the narrow benches tonight anyway. As I fell asleep, the world around me was just as when I woke up. All still, and completely silent.
