Despite not making a fire tonight, I still woke up several times completely drenched in swett. I also had an alarm for like 5 in the morning, but managed to snooze it, half asleep, until 7. Then I finally got up and got ready to go.
Today I just walked and walked. The morning was pretty, and I passed through several cozy fäbodar, as well as Oxberg and its chapel and wished I could've taken a photo. But my phone was dead and it was solely my own fault. In the beginning it wasn't too hard to keep my mind occupied. I thought about the surroundings I passed, about my fantasy story I've worked on for ages and lots of other things. I also passed several places with signs I could read in, which was nice, I like that.
When I finally passed Eldris, it got worse. My feet got heavier and hurt a bit, my thoughts felt drained and the terrain was the same until I got to Mora. Basically one of those terrain tracks for running/biking/skiing.
At last, after many km and lots of passed people (for me anyway) later, the terrain started to change and I started to think about how to find the place I had booked.
Luckily, I have a really nice GPS-watch which helped me find the way. I had booked a cabin at Mora Parken, so I was going to pass the place anyway, but I didn't know that.
I checked in, found the cabin and sat down on the floor, charging my phone and calling Lukas and Liv.
I then sat there on the floor, completely drained, until like 5 minutes before they came, when I decided to start showering. Stupidly enough, I remember when I was in the shower that they had no way of getting inside because the doors lock automatically... So I had to get out of the shower - wet and naked, to open the door for them 😂 Great welcome committee by me! I gave Lukas a hug and then went straight back to finish showering.
Luckily for me, I was the only one who was dead tired that evening. Lukas and Liv made me pizza, then we ate mud cake that Liv had baked and had ice cream. Lukas had then brought a massage table and gave me some massage! I was in paradise. And then it was time to sleep.
